Summertime and the Practicin' is... William Dick
All of us teachers wish our students would practice during the summer, and indeed many students start the vacation with plans for major practice and technical advancement. Often however, the work only lasts a few weeks, if started at all. Here is a description of a practice project that a colleague and I are doing with his high school string players this summer. Perhaps it will spur ideas for you and your students.
