It’s not too late to be an IIDA Campus Center!
If you have 10-15 IIDA Student Members at your school, then what are you waiting for?
Download the application and apply today!
Campus Centers are design-aligned clubs that work closely with the professional Chapter within their state or region. Campus Centers can help organize firm tours, portfolio reviews and networking events for students in their area, adding value and opportunities to local Student Members.
PA/NJ/DE: Campus Center Leadership Event
On Oct. 21 and Oct. 22, PA/NJ/DE Chapter held a Campus Center Leadership Event in conjunction with its semi-annual chapter board retreat. Eight students were invited, two leaders from each of the schools supporting Campus Centers within our chapter: The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Marywood University and Philadelphia University. The Students took this weekend opportunity to discuss how to build and run their Campus Centers.
The weekend began with an inspirational (and educational) tour at the Emeco factory in Hanover, Pennsylvania. The next day the students participated in part of the Annual Chapter Board Meeting, then headed to The Hotel Hershey to be awed by its history and architecture.

Highlights from Puget Sound Campus Center Designers Duel 2011 Event
Students from Bellevue College, the Art Institute of Seattle, Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle Pacific University, and IADT Seattle kicked off the 2011-2012 School Year with the IIDA Puget Sound Campus Center annual Designer Duel at NBBJ. Students came together for a low-key, casual, fun-filled event, where they had a great opportunity to meet, mingle and collaborate with fellow design students and working professionals. Check out more photos of this event on Facebook.
During the event, Students were broken into group and given a design problem to solve. At the end of 30 minutes, the student groups presented their ideas to the group. With generous donors including Steelcase and DesignTex the event provided the setting for Students and local Professionals, the event was the perfect place to start building a solid design network within the design community of Seattle.
